Increasing Diversity in the Field of Arbitration and Mediation

Diverse neutrals gathered at Howard University School of Law on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 to sit down with Selectors (Shell Company, GM, Blank Rome LLP, and more) from all across the country in an effort to further the cause for increased diversity in the field of #DisputeResolution -The Ray Corollary Initiative (RCI) at work. CPR Driving Toward More Diverse Selection of Neutrals: The Ray Corollary Initiative at Work.

What a great event facilitated by Homer C. La Rue (he, him, his) Board Chair of RCI and Professor of Howard Law. Also, great to hear from Dean Danielle Holley as an introduction to the evening.

So many new faces, many familiar faces as well. A warm shout to Lisa D. Love, Esq., FCIArb and DeAndra Roaché, experienced, seasoned neutrals present at the event who freely welcome new neutrals to the field. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, in the space was open and willing to talk and share with one another for an awesome cause. A safe space to move about.

Also, a huge shout to neutrals: Lorrie W.ElizabethAnn “Betty” Morgan – FCIArb, and Juliana Rigato-Piekarski all of whom gathered for the Amtrak ‘Recap After Party’ while heading to our respective homes.

Decided to put together something a little different to highlight the event- Enjoy the video!

Blessings in Dispute Resolution.
