Recently, I had the opportunity to attend and Support Schomburg’s 1st Annual Literary Festival in Harlem on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

The festival presented a full day of celebrating and hearing from many of our favorite authors.

In the featured photo, I got a chance to chat again with a favorite author and the creator of Well Reas Black Girl, Glory Edim. To close this year’s festival, we heard from renowned poet, Sonia Sanchez (pictured). Other authors presented included, Darnell Moore, Tanisha C. Ford and Michael Twitty.
